Brothers International Desserts, Inc. was created in 1973 by Gary and Errol Winkler in Westminster, CA.
Originally it was established as Brothers Italian Ices. The company quickly expanded to 3 retail stores. Soon thereafter, the brothers realized that they wanted to emphasize manufacturing and wholesaling of the product so they sold their retail stores and moved to a small industrial facility in Santa Ana, CA.
The new 5,000 square foot building allowed the company to expand their production line and soon they were making a full line of fruitbars, ice creams and ice cream truffles.
Today the company has over 135 employees manufacturing over 500 different products consumed in most parts of our country. These products can be found in a variety of foodservice establishments (restaurants, hotels, airlines etc.), supermarkets, clubstores and other trail establishments as well as delicious products made under other brands and labels.
