Create some stylish web borders in just a few steps. |
Step 1
Make a new image. 50 x 100. RGB colour.
Fill the image with white.
Step 2
Make a new layer. Name it left.
Get the rectangular marquee tool, and make a selection 8 x 100. Fill it with black.
Step 3
Make a new layer. Name it right. Get the rectangular marquee tool, and make a selection 10 x 100. Fill it with black. You should now have this:
Step 4
Select the layer "left" and in blending options, add a gradient overlay. Angle: 0, style: linear, blendmode: normal, Gradient:
Step 5
Select the layer ‘right’ and in blending options, add a gradient overlay. Angle: 180, style: linear, blendmode: normal, Gradient:
Step 6
Now, just add a 1px black stroke to layers left, right and you’re done! Tutorial by Lenny.
